"hersenspinsels"

Dear interweb,

today I have two small things to share.

1.I was sitting in the bus and there were 2 Dutch guys sitting there. A guy with another background stepped in and greeted them. Then he wanted to give them a hand and those dudes were like: why is that you people always need to shake hands? It's not like you are going on a big trip every day!
Well, I thought by myself: when there is a party or just in a bar, why do you Dutch guys always hang on each other? Yeah, they can be good friends. But sometimes it just looks like they rather hang on each other then on the girls surrounding them...just my opinion!

2.Last Winter was cold and there was a lot of snow for about 4 weeks I think. I kind of forgot about it, but then today it hit me again. Why you ask? I was only outside for about 2 hours, but I saw a lot of pregnant woman. Some who were just half away, some were just about ready. So yeah...it really was a cold Winter.

Peace...and out,
Shade

  1. Yeah, right?! I get a ton of friends that go to bars and ponder about this fact. I think in the Netherlands there's just this really strong bond between friends. On Curacao, I think we learn to love, admire and put women above all. Maybe not women in particular, but your significant other. And we're more family oriented which is not the case here. I think friends are what keeps people going here. But I don't know. You raise an interesting point.

  2. Would you care to elaborate on that point, from a female's perspective in your own blog? And that connect in to mine? Could be interesting...
